Everyone is doing their end of year reviews. Top ten best albums/ singles.
Honestly who gives a shit, I heard nothing this year that is as good as Surfer Rosa or even Bossanova so there really is no need for top 5's let alone top tens. Seen some great live stuff though.


Top 3 I like Keith TOTP's album, I love Rebekah's new stuff and the Black Daniel album Let's get sued is great too. This year I have mainly been getting into old stuff that I didn't know about, Bauhaus and even Leonard Cohen.

I have really enjoyed playing in so many different projects this year, Black Daniel, Heart Kill Giant, Subliminal Girls, The 18 Carat Love Affair, the Inevitable Pin Hole Burns,Mayumi Carrex with Wayne and Ciaran, The Angry Bees, Duos and trios and solos.

It has been the year of amazing new friends, and amazing times with old friends. A few sad times and lots of happy times, none of which I regret. I go into 2011 with a head full of ideas and inspirations and a lack of fear not experienced since my teens. So I am 34. 34 is a good f**king age, I know a darn sight more now than I did when I was 26. I wish I could go back in time and have a few words with that f**king idiot back then.

Massive thanks to Liam Black Daniel for sticking his neck out for the pinholes, to Patrick Mccourt for asking me to play the bass for him, Wayne for wanting to get a band back together, the pinholes for asking me to sing for them and always showing up on time. Sub Girls for always being the same and Arran, for, well, just being Arran and constantly putting up with my shit. Steve Horry, Kate Dornan, Ciaran McNamee, Keith TOTP, Holly, Dan Pallett for sitting opposite me everyday and listening to my shit and everyone else ( you know who you all are you aren't named but you are not forgotten). Come on 2011.

Works great, music is better than ever, the window is open, it isn't even that cold and I have the best friends in the world.
